Break Through

Struggling to keep himself up right but still leaning heavily on his twin brothers shoulder Zero tried to keep himself under control. he really was starting to hate Kaname Kuran more and more which even minute that passed by.

''And you think that by turning me that would have changed Kuran'' he yelled back rather angry now

Ichiru shoot his brother a concerning look and kept on supporting him noticing how unbalanced he was right now.

''Zero try to keep yourself under control, being this angry wont do you any good''
Ichiru said softly and glared into the direction of were the two new vampires had came from

Zero nods his head and tries to listen to his brothers advise but it was really hard
how could he have done this to him how was he ever going to have Yuki accept his feelings now that he was a blood lusting vampire dam that Kuran. he thought as he glares at Kuran.

The door opens again and this time Yuki still looking very distraught. her cheeks still wet from all the crying she had done in the past couple of minutes accompanied by the chairman walks in again.

She rushes over to Zero the moment she saw him awake and leaning on his brothers shoulders
ignoring everyone in the room completely really that worried about her best friends condition and comes to a halt before her silver haired best friend.

''Zero are you ok ?'' she says softly her face very sad and concerned now.
Taking his other arm she helps Ichiru to keep him standing.

Zero's eye shift from Kaname to look at those of Yukis and he gives her a weak painful smile
''Yuki dont look at me now how can you still see me now that i have become this monster all because of Kuran'' he finishes talking and looks away staring at the ground instead.

Yukis face turns all shocked when hearing Zero speak so depressed and sad
She gives him a warm smile then and shakes her head.
''No Zero no matter what happens you always be my best friend me and Ichiru-kun will try to help you as much as we can so please stop hurting yourself like this''

Ichiru agrees and smiles as well. ''Believe in us brother we are always going to be there for you
He then looks up when the chairman clears his voice and goes silent. hoping that his brother was not going to be isolated rigth now because of what he had become now.

Kaien Cross was dozing lazily in his office chair when Yuki arrived, her face red and her expression distraught. After falling from his precarious sleeping perch (He had been leaning the chair back on two legs) he quickly hurried over to his adoptive daughter, his paternal instincts once again in overdrive.

After assertaining that Yuki was indeed healthy, he felt his blood run cold as she filled him in on the reason for her tears and haste.

Kaname Kuran had bitten a fellow student. A human fellow student who also happened to be a rare twin child from a prestigous Vampire Hunter clan. If this was true; and he did not doubt Yuki in the slightest; the King of Vampires had as good as signed his own name on the execution list.

He immediatly requested she lead him to the scene and followed with a sense of urgency in his pace, practically sweeping down the halls. Upon arrival, he was barely able to hold back a gasp. On the floor was a pool of deep crimson blood and sprawled dead in it's center was Zero Kiriyu, bloodied and weak as he was leaning against his brother.

At the other side of the room three vampires were stood observing his reaction. Takuma Ichijou seemed a mixture of horrified and disapointed with a hint of self-reproach hidden in his normally playfull eyes. He had obviously known of the danger.

Aidou Hanabusa on the otherhand seemed irritated at all the fuss. Predictable he supposed, many of the Nobles thought nothing of vengefull feeding. Expecially when a Pure-Blood was the perpertrator.

Kaname Kuran seemed as unflappable as ever, sitting calmly in his chair with all the elgegance of royalty, his expression bland and cold as he looked up to acknolege the Headmaster, his collar stained a dark, incriminating red.

The headmaster slowly walks over towards the Kiryu twins and his adoptive daughter his face very distraught and sad. standing still before the three he takes a closer look at Zeros condition and sighs it really was far worse then he thought it might be. Zero was no longer human but a vampire. he knew that from now on they would need to keep the young hunter under complete guard at all times. The blood lust would soon be too much for the young man to bear. Placing a firm hand on the silver haired youths shoulders he gives him a warm smile.

''Everything will be ok Kiryu-kun let your brother and Yuki bring you back to your dorm and we discus this matter as soon as i have a word with Kaname-kun'' Watching the boy give him a slight nod while still suffering from the blood he had lost in such a small amount of time which made him lean heavily on his twin brothers shoulders.

''Come lets get you into bed brother'' Ichiru spoke then and begin to walk towards the entrance of the room
His eyes fixed on only the entrance compltely ignoring all of the vampires inside the building.
Yuki quickly responded as well. ''Yes Zero-kun let me help you wash away all that blood you look awful''
She said in a caring kind of way.

''I will be meeting with all three of you shortly go now'' The headmaster spoke with a friendly and patient voice. Yuki and the twins gave a nod and disappeared from view.

Once they had left the class room all together Zero was able to breath normal again
He was worrying about the future now more then ever but what made him worry the most about was Yuki. his soft spoken foolish girly girl and best friend. he knew she would do anything in her powers to help him as much as she could but the very thought of losing control and feast on her blood made him feel like a part of him was losing control and the beast inside of him would win in the end no matter how much he fought against it.

Ichiru was really worried as well over his brother and wondered what would become of him now that he had become a creature of the night.
would he be placed in the nigth class? would he be needing to move to the moon dorm from now on?'
All those questions ran inside his head but he needed to focus himself now to be able to take care of his brother as best as he could.

Yuki kept Zero steady as they walked through the hall way and back to the boys dorm.
Once they had arrived outside and walk on the school grounds towards the dorm Zero almost collapsed rigth there at the entrance door of the boys dorms if it wasnt for his twin brother to keep him up right.

''Hold on for a little longer Zero we are almost there'' he softly spoke as they continue to walk.
Zero struggles to keep himself to continue moving his body but he really felt so weak and worn out that it really took all of his will power to make it to his shared room.

Standing before the bed Ichiru and Yuki gently placed him on his bed.
''Here we are Zero-kun i be right back and make sure the water is warm.'' She chirped and Turned her head to talk to Ichiru then. ''Will you remove his bloody clothes and take him to the shower when i say its ready Ichiru-kun?'' Said boy gave nod. ''Will do'' and gives her a warm smile which she returned and ran off into the direction of the bathroom.

Kaname turned towards the waiting vampires beside his chair and briskly told them to step outside as the three prefects vacated the room, the two humans stood on either side of the newly created vampire. Kaname watched them leave, studiously ignoring the irritated glare from Hanabusa and the disappointed frown of Ichijo.

Kaien cleared his throat once the door had closed and the vampires footsteps had faded enough that even their sharp hearing would not catch the words spoken as he turned his gaze upon the enigmatic Pure-Blood. He sighed and wearily took a seat while removing his own Hunter weapon, leveling it upon the vampire before him with utmost regret.

"My apologies Kaname-sama but given the early events I have no choice but to take such a precaution."

Kaname eyed him with what could almost be amusement if he had not been feeling so ashamed at his actions. "I do not begrudge you the need to ensure your safety," he replied, "However, I feel obligated to inform that all lust for blood has long since been sated."

Headmaster Cross rubbed the bridge of his nose with his free hand and shook his head. "Why didn't you inform me of this sooner?" he inquired, almost plaintively, "Perhaps then we may have been able to avoid this casualty."

"I doubt Kiriyu would appreciate being labeled as such," Kaname replied, crossing his arms, "but in answer to your question, it did not seem as serious until this morning."

The blonde ex-hunter gave Kaname a slightly irritated look, "My blood tablets failing to work is indeed a serious manner. If they have indeed become ineffective for you then that would mean there is a distinct possibility the same can be said for the other nobles." The vampire inclined his head in agreement with a curt,"Indeed."

Kaine let out another sigh and stood up, "You do realize that I have no choice but to inform the Hunters Association of this. They will most likely place you on the Execution list. It is a grave matter to kill a hunter without provocation."

Kaname raised a delicate eyebrow in query, "And what makes you believe that I had no provocation? You of all people understand that there is little love lost between Kiriyu and I. You must also be aware that he often exhibits tendency to react rather violently when he does not appreciate something directed at him."

Kaien directed a glare at the brunette, "Zero would never try to kill you without good reason. He will threaten you certainly but never kill."

Ichiru watches his brother suffer alone but there really wasn't anything he could do for his twin now
This happening to Zero made him feel very confused and a little panicked.

Grabbing a chair he sat down near the bed and continued to watch his brother move to find the rigth posistion to lay in breathing hard as he tries to focus himself on his brother but his vision kept continue to be blurry no matter how much he blinks with his eyes.

''Zero-nii please let me help you i cant stand to see you in such pain'' Ichiru pleaded with his brother. standing up again and helping his brother sit up right again.

Zero watch his brother speak to him with such a sad voice that he tries his best to sit up again and to be able to talk to him again to make him know he is still there for his brother.

''Ichiru i am sorry but can you help me take of my clothes i cant do it by myself right now he says panting hard.

Without saying one word to his brother request he silently starts removing his clothes until he was in nothing but his underwear because all of his clothes had been covered completely with blood.

Zero was sweating very much now and Ichiru hoped a cold shower would help to cool him down a bit.

a loud knock on the door made Ichiru know that Yuki was done with the shower.

''Its ready now Ichiru Zero i will be heading to my dorm for the time being while waiting for the chairman to return ok?'' he says softly hoping they were ok still.

''ok thanks Yuki-chan'' With that said Yuki walked away again and with Zero again leaning on his brothers shoulders Ichiru slowly headed to the bathroom.

Kaname chuckled softly at the headmasters comment. He almost made Zero sound harmless and much less trigger happy than he truly was. He smiled slightly, the expression one that would have seemed ruefull had anyone else worn it.

Kaien Cross watched the pureblood carefully, a curious spark in his eyes. Se;f-destructiveness, it seemed, was a trait that even the purest vampire possesed. Their abillity to create dangerous enemys was astounding. Kaname held his gaze calmly, an equally contemplative look on his aristoratic features.

That was another thing that puzzled the hunter. Kaname Kuran was, amazingly dispite his circumstances, as unflappable as ever. He even seemed comfortable as he reclined elegantly in his chair, making it seem more like a throne than a simple hard back study chair. One would not think to see him so serene that he had lost all respect from his sibling and moments ago effectivly commited suicide.

"I am concerned if that is what you're wondering." Kaname said suddenly, "I just prefer not to antagonize my situation further."

Zero with his last bits of strength was able to get himself into the shower.

Yuki had all ready turned on the shower so that he was not going to have any difficulties with turning it on himself.

Standing a little bit unbalanced on his feet he managed to wash away all the blood.
he sighed deeply as the warm water flows over his face. closing his eyes he is able to get himself to relax even for a slight bit.

but the wound in his neck wont stop throbbing until it gets so bad he has to place a hand on his neck to make it go away. he knows he still in control of himself but for how long until he is going to lose himself completely. Zero has no idea but one thing he knows for sure time is running out and its running out fast.


Meanwhile Ichiru is pacing in the hall way while waiting for Zero to finish his shower.
Thinking about everything that had happend this day.

He cant stop worrying about his brother and hates to feel so powerless
Because now its Zero that needs him instead of the other way around and the younger one of the Kiryu brothers clearly is not prepared to be palying the mature and confident brother now that Zero is being in this weakened state.

Taking his time, his steps measured and leisurly as he strode through the hallways on his way back to his dorm, Kaname closed his eyes, heaving in a deep breath before exhaling in a surprisingly loud sigh. The shit, to use a crude as decidedly Zero grade of speech, has officially hit the fan.

Kaien was torn, that much had been obvious to Kaname. The headmaster was nothing if not honourable, if perhaps a little (or alot) excentric. To put the man in this postion was unfair, the pureblood knew. Still, regret was very unwilling to make an appearance.

Dismayed at the utter lack of repentance from his student, Kaien had eventually relinquished the night class president to the waiting vampires, his countance seeming to have aged years in the time between Kaname's impulsive act and that moment. Kaname pitied him.

After assuring Hanabusa and Ichijo that he was indeed fine and did not need an escort, He slipped off on his own, slowing his pace and taking a longer route back.

He needed to think.

Finishing his shower Zero stumbles out of the douche cabin with lots of difficulties and heavy breathing
but than just like that it seemed that the blood he had swallowed up not even a half hour ago is finally starting to take its effects and as he feels his strength return to him he sighs in relief hating to feel so helpless and weak was not something he wanted to have his brother to see him be he always was the more stronger of the two that bastard Kuran jsut had to go and destroy his normal human life and worst part of all what if his parents would come to find out about all this that would surly bring tragedy and lots of suffering and sorrow to the academy no his parents were better of not knowing for the time being and knew his brother would agree with him about this.

Ichiru was on high alert and when he heard his brothers footsteps in the bathroom he opens it quickly to sigh in relief when he sees his twin drying himself of and noticed his strenght seemed to have returned back to him again but the question was for how long?

''Zero-nii are you ok?'' Turning his head to look at his brother he gives a slow nod
''I feel better again i think the shower was a good idea come lets go to bed its late''

Happy that his brother seemed to be behaving the same as always Ichiru leds himself led to their shared room to crawl underneath the blankets just like usual and not before long they are both sound asleep.

After walking for a while, Kaname opened his warm brown eyes to take in his surroundings. He chuckled, raising a thin perfect eyebrow as he took in the large, somewhat cramped looking building that was the day dorms.

"It seems my instincts are running away with me again," he commented to no one in particular, placing his hands in his pockets as he eyed the building curiously, idily contemplating his welcome in the place.

Yuki would be furious, he thought, more than likely flushing with a mix of anger, confusing and unfortunatly hatred. She will prove hard to win over, should he survive the repercussions. The Kiriyu's would also be furious, particularly the elder.

Kaname licked his lips in thought, bringing his long elegant fingers to his lips as he remembered the taste of Zero's blood. The young man was delicious, his blood tasting so sweet yet holding a bitter tang so well hidden it made Kaname want to drink more just to be certain it was there. However, now that he was turned, that flavour was almost certain to become more vivid.

Kaname's eyes flashed red as his gaze shot towards a certain window, his primal instinct taking interest in that theory, making it known to the pureblood that as Zero's sire and as the highest born Kuran, he owned the young vampire. Moreso now that he had partaken of his blood.

The brunette ruminated on that thought for a moment, his eyes still trained on the Kiriyu's window before he briskly put it aside. Regardless of claims of ownership, Zero was a new vampire and as such was liability to all withing the day class, his brother in particular due to sharing a room.

Nodding to himself, Kaname smiled and began to walk in earnest towards the more comfortable Moon Dormitorys. He would have to be moved, the man thought before the smile took on a slightly more sinister shape. Perhaps then matters of ownership could be adressed.

The next day Yuki and Ichiru by Zero's reassuring he was fine go to class without him as Zero remains in bed for the rest of the day even the chairman wanted Zero to remain low for the time being until they were sure he was steady enough again to go to class again but when the house was all empty again with the chairman and Yuki and Ichiru all have left the house Zero cant help but feel a little alone and who better to ease his pain than a visit to his favorite mare Lilly.

Laying inside his bed only made him think deeply and worry about the future more and more laying in the hay with Lilly close besides him he could rest far better than here in this silent house but when he came to a stop to her stable she seemed to be in a lesson with that news made him go back inside the house again and sit down on the sofa with a book to ease his loneliness until his sib and Yuki would come back from their classes

Ichijo Takuma was fretting by the time Kaname entered his rooms. The pureblood held back a chuckle at the visible relief in the Nobles eyes when the fell on him.

"Be at ease," Kaname said calmly, walking towards his friend with an amused smile, "I have already disgaced myself enough in these few hours to find even the slightest idea of more tempting." Ichijo realxed at that, though he still continued to eye the brunette with concern.

Kaname drifted towards his bed and perched upon the blankets primly, his gaze fixed upon the still standing blonde. "You are still not convinced," he stated, his tone disaproving. Ichijo offered him a wan smile before taking a seat beside him.

"I am merely worried for you," he replied, his tone warm and soft, "Your control over your instincts have waned lately. A fool would see it." He sighed, his expression becoming sad, "And now, after what happened with Kiriyu-san...." He gazed at his friend, his expression somewhat pained, "I fear for you. I fear you will fall prey to obsession... If you have not already...."

Kaname regarded him stonily, his eyebrows pursed together. "You assume me to be a slave to my instincts," he answered his tone ever so slightly tinged with a dangerous edge, "Do you also assume my efforts to be pure folly? That I have not thought this through to a great extent?"

Ichijo leaned back, his stance shocked and apologetic, "I did not mean-"

"I know very well what you were trying to convey Takuma," Kaname interjected, his voice quiet as ever but his tone ringing louder than a scream. He stood, turning a brief, disdainful glare towards his friend before walking back to the door.

"Where are you going?" Ichijo asked tentativly, worry seeping over his handsome features. Kaname stopped at the door. "It seems I need a little longer to clear my head," he replied, turning his head slightly to frown at the blonde, "There is no need to accompany me."

"Be resonable Kaname, It's daylight out the-"

"I will take nessasar precautions," he answered silkily, sweeping out of the door as silently as he had entered. Ichijo sat back and bit his lip gently.

It appeared that a meeting with Headmaster Cross would be wise.

But a day you normally spend all day following classes than like now spending inside forced did not anything good to Zero's mood after a hour or two reading his book was starting to bore him to no end
glancing outside of his window he sighs deeply it was only 11 am in the morning still a whole day to spend all by himself normally Ichiru or Yuki would keep him entertained enough but now now all he could do was stay inside and be good and man did he hated it.

After he had woken up he was still doing pretty well and even some color had returned back to his cheeks but he was hell worried what would happen if he was thirsty for blood being a vampire made him real scared that one of those days he would be hurting either Ichiru or Yuki and he could not led that happen but to leave his twin and Yuki alone he just could not do that. Ichiru behaved like he was all Independent but Zero knew better that was only for show he knew his twin brother still needed his elder brother still very much and Yuki he was not even sure about Yuki she always needed his our his brothers protection she was way to clumsy and innocent for her own good no Zero could not led those two out of his side even if it meant going back to that bastard Kuran for blood he would do whatever in his power to by his siblings side at all cost.

When another hour had passed Zero could not take it anymore and went to walk outside for a lil bit staying inside the house was making him crazy staying there for a minute more

Keeping to the general shade of the trees, Kaname mades his way through the grounds, his initial fury calming as he took in the peacefull air around him. The first of regret began to pool in his stomach as he thought about Takuma's concern.

"Perhaps I was a little harsh," he breathed, halting by a particularly large tree and jumping gracefully into its boughs, "I will apologise this evening."

He smiled, knowing even with an apology, Takuma would still forgive him. That was the gentle Noble's nature and also what made Kaname value his friendship so much. He sighed and leaned back, looking across the ways at all the people milling aroud in their daily activitys.

Then, his sharp eyes saw a flash of white, walking slowly towards his tree while keeping resoloutly to the shade, a practically visible cloud of doom hanging over his silver head. Kaname chuckled. There was only one person that could be.

A studden stab of hunger shot through his amusement, causing his eyes to dilate a fraction and eye the student in a calculating way, a new kind of interest sparking within them.

He waited paiently for the forlorn young man to approach, watching with the keen gaze of an expert hunter as Zero paused to catch his breath.

For the briefest of seconds, Kaname considered his actions, his common sense pleading him to excersise caution rather than worsen his predicament. However, the stab of hunger that answered screamed louder and it was with a victorious snarl that a long, thin hand complete with razor sharp talons shot out from the disguising leaves to ensnare the unwitting hunter.

Kaname closed his eyes at the brief squawk of surprise that excaped the albino as he was roughly pulled into the tree, his primal instincts purring at the young mans distress. He smirked and thrust him into the trees trunk, his clawed hand firmly anchoring him to the bark as he eyed the frightened teen with dark amusement.

"Kiriyu," he drawled, "Fancy meeting you here."

Unaware that he was being watched Zero thought to just take a nap underneath the branches of a large thick oak tree until it was to late and has being pinned to the tree by the claws of no other than Kuran Kaname fear shot through his body as he looks into the blood red eyes of said vampire and struggles with all his might to get away from his monster who when seeing his hungry blood lusty look wanted nothing more than another round of his blood.

''Get away from me Kuran didn't you did all ready way to much damaged to me why making it worse'' he said in between breaths cause being pinned to the tree did not do anything good to his neck and his breathing became more and more swallow.

Meanwhile at school Ichiru really was not able to concentrate at all and neither was Yuki both kept on staring out of the window with only one thing on their mind which was Zero so when the bell finally rang they could not be fast enough to head on home to see how he was faring but when they came back tossing bags on the ground and did not found him in his room they knew he probably had gone outside for a bit.

''Yuki-chan check Lillys stable than i check the trees ok?'' Nodding her head the brown haired girl skips away to the direction of the stables while Ichiru runs into the forest but when he heard a loud scream coming from very close by by instinct his gun that he almost always carried with him he was no hunter for nothing their teacher had taught them well that carrying your gun with you when you got on unfamiliar ground was a must.

Not before long he saw his brother pinned to a tree and Kuran Kaname hovering over the young boy with blood red blood lusting eyes and about to bite him once more.

''You freak get away from my brother!!" Ichiru yells and rushes to his brothers side to point his gun on the pureblood vampire's head. ''Release him now or i shoot?'' Ichiru growls.

Zero was so relieved to see his brother now that he was here that freak of a man would finally led him go and would not be getting any of his blood.

Kaname growled at the intrution to his feeding, his eyes flashing with pure fury. Then he took a breath, closing his eyes for a second to collect himself. He opened them again, keeping his now brown orbs fixed upon Zero as he addessed his brother.

"If you wish to kill me," he began, his tone calm and level "You may do so, however, I believe you will need a little more than that gun." He heard Ichiru scoff, taking of the safety on his gun as he pressed it close to the vampires temple.

A sound behind the hunter, so quiet that a human would not hear it, reached Kaname's ears, giving him the urge to roll his eyes as Takuma Ichijo silently crept forward. He gazed between Kaname and the two Kiryu's, and expression of disapointment and concern flashing over his features before melding into a blank glare.

He quickly stepped forward and disarmed Ichiru, pocketing the gun and pinning his arms in one swift, fluid movement, placing his fangs at the hunters throat.

"One wrong word or move and I will silence you without even the option of being turned," he hissed quietly against Ichiru's neck.

Unable to free his arms cause the vampire was pushing him down with full strenght Ichiru growls and looks over at his brother who had his eyes fixed on him as well.

Why was Kuran Kaname behaving in such a way Ichiru neither Zero was able to really understand
''Release me you freak dam why are you acting this way what did we ever do to you tell me this?''
Ichiru spoke and was really concerned when he saw a flash of red in Zero's eyes which meant trouble was on its way.

Struggling to keep himself under control Zero breaths real hard and lowers his head to the ground
but no matter how much he tried not to think about the vampire close by his side was really distracting him from thinking clearly and all his vampire instincts told him was to feed feed on his sires blood
which made Zero even more confused since when did he called Kuran Kaname his master that was really confusing the hell out of him but than just like that his mind went blank and he went all pale and his eyes remained fixed on Kaname unable to control himself any longer he thought that Kuran was doing something to him but he did not know what.

Seeing Zero go all pale and still Ichiru turned his attention quickly to Kuran again
''Kuran what the hell are you doing to Zero?'' tell me !! he yells frantic.

"This is not directly my doing," Kaname replied raising the wrist not holding Zero and knicking it ever so slightly with a tooth so that only the smallest bead of blood began to form. He watched almost smugly as Zero's eyes fixed hungrily upon the tiny red dot, "He is merely reacting to his sire's proximity."

Kaname eyed the new vampire speculativly, considering wether or not to feed him now or later. He almost pityed Zero as a slight whimper escaped his throat when the droplet fell to the floor.

Ichiru watched disaprovingly, still holding Ichiru firmly in his grasp. "Stop playing with him Kaname," he hissed out, throwing caution to the wind in favour of common sense, "Feed him or feed off him, either way we need to return to the dorm. You are doing yourself no favours by torturing him and his brother."

"Zero snap out of it will you dont led him get the best of you you are much more stronger than that''
Ichiru hissed and got Zero to blink his eyes for a couple of times before he gave his twin a apologizing look. ''Kuran let go of us and get to your dorms or i make sure the chairman will hear about this within this hour'' Zero warned them and has Ichiru give him a approving smirk in return happy that his brother was able to get back to normal this quickly again.

"Listen to them," Ichijo said imploringly, lifting his face from Ichiru's neck, "I have spoken to Kaien about this matter. We can settle it then" Kaname's head shot in his direction, his eyes hard.

"You spoke to the headmaster without my permission?" he hissed. The blonde had the decency to look down in shame before he regained his courage. "I wanted to make sure that you had as little opportunity as possible to worsen your situation."

Kaname glared at him, biting back another furious snarl before turning towards Zero. "Very well," he replied, eyeing Zero's neck with something akin to longing, "I will accompany you back."

Ichijo resisted relaxing in relief, knowing that to do so would be potentially fatal or at the ver least painful. "Kiriyu-san and Kiriyu-san," he addressed the twins, smirking a little at the repeated words, "I ask you to grant me this small boon."

He paused to ensure that they were listening before continuing, "If you will agree staying your roverbial blades untill the meeting with Kaien, to which both of you and Yuki-chan are invited, I will give my word that I will personally ensure that Kaname will not leave his rooms untill that appointed time." He looked from one to the other, ignoring the indignant grimace from Kaname.

"What say you?"

Frowning both twins nod their heads. ''Fine'' Zero said pleased to hear he had contacted the chairman about this matter noticing how grave the situation was starting to become.

Taking a deep breath he was relieved to be able to control his own body again being a vampire sure was still hell confusing. ''We will attend of course i want this matter settled and over with i dont want my brother to suffer anymore than he all ready did''

Yuki after finding nothing in the stables went after Ichiru but when she got to the place in the forest and saw the twins together with Ichijou-senpei and Kaname-senpei she was not sure how to approach until Ichiru saw her and waved his hand to make her come closer.

''Yuki-chan i found Zero he was just dozing of somewere right brother?'' winking Zero got were his brother was getting to and gave a warm nod to Yuki. ''I am sorry i made you worried Yuki but i am fine really''

''Better not scare me so much Zero its a good thing Ichiru-kun knows your hiding places or else i would be still be looking for you'' Laughing Zero and Ichiru both share a glance and are relieved that Yuki did not seem to notice their distress in their voices.

Kaname eyed Yuki sadly before retreating further from the group his back facing them. He would not be able to bear her disdain at this time. He was still feeling raw.

Ichijo noticed his reluctance to linger, getting the subtle hint. He turned, directing a winning smile towards Yuki. "I believe it is time to take m.y leave Yuki-chan," he said breazily, kissing her hand in a friendly gesture, "As always it has been a pleasure." He looked towards the twins, "I trust you will inform her of the meeting this evening?" He waited for them to nod before bowing and bidding them well once more as he left to re-join Kaname.

The walk back to the dorm was almost painfully quiet. Kaname refused to speak for almost the whole trip, favouring instead to gaze stoicly ahead, his eyes distracted. Ichijo sighed, already readying himself for the no doubt polite tongue lashing he would receive later.

"You took the right action."

Ichijo nearly stopped dead when Kaname spoke, his eyes wide with surprise. he looked towards the regal man, "E...excuse me?"

Kaname sighed and halted his step. "I also apologise for putting you in such a position." He looked at his friend his expression sad. Ichijo was stunned. Kaname was actually apologising?

"Why are you apologising Kaname-sama?" he asked, eyeing his leader with concern, "You have never needed to before." The brunnette chuckled, though the action seemed more to more a grimace of pain than an expression of humour. Perhaps that was it exactly.

"I find myself becoming more primal of late," the Pure-blood replied, gesturing for Ichijo to continue walking, "And if I am right in my assumptions, the elder Kiryu is the key to both my salvation and my undoing." Ichijo frowned, thinking that over.

"You believe he is the cause?" he asked, looking towards his leader. Kaname shook his head, being to refined to even contemplate a shrug. "I find lately that my urge to feed grows stronger when he is in my presence. Perhaps it is merely a manifestation of mutual dislike?"

He rolled his shoulders, suddenly feeling achey and exhausted and more than a little hungry from is denied feed. He eyed the approaching dorm with no small amount of relief, gratefull for even the smallest amount of respite.

He heard Ichijo sigh again beside him. "You still intend to invoke the right of ownership over Kiryu?" the blonde stated more than asked. Kaname smiled at his frankness before replying.

"Wether I had intended to or not, the point is moot. Kiriyu, as a newly turned vampire, is a danger to all he cares for. Claim or no claim, he must not be allowed to remain in sun dorms any longer than nessasary."

Walking back to the chairman's house to have dinner that late afternoon Ichiru and Zero inform her about the meeting them soon will have about Kaname's actions earlier last night and it makes Yuki's worries about Zero maybe being moved to the moon dorms even more visible on her face when seated at the table that night.

Zero sees her worried face and gently touches her cheek for a moment and smiling at her warmly.
''Dont worry Yuki i am not letting myself being moved to those monsters dorms without a fight and you know that'' Hearing Zero's reassuring words gets her to return the smile and nods her head
''I do Zero i dont want you to leave me and Ichiru-kun all because of you becoming a vampire now you cant leave us you just cant'' ''Hush Yuki dont worry about it'' Ichiru respond before Zero could
''I am not letting them move you Zero hell no''

Happy with his siblings love and affection he is calmed down enough to face whatever will happen at tonights meeting.

Headmaster Kaien was at his wits end. His dream of a coexisting had practically gone up in smoke within a matter of hours, the catalyst being the person he least expected to be the cause. He slumped in his chair sadly, his eyes fixed upon the missive on his desk.

To send it would no doubt condemn one of the most powerfull vampire familys to extinction, of that he was certain. However, if he didn't, once the council discovered Kaname's treachery, and he had no doubt they would, Kaien and his school would also hit the firing line.

He grimaced and straightened up as the sound of his cuckoo clock struck the hour. Now was not the time to concider such repercussions. Quietly, he removed the letter and placed it in a drawer, sitting back just as a a knock sounded upon the door.

"Enter," he said wearily, not even managing his customary grin as a familiar Blonde entered, smiling politely at the headmaster while holding open the door for his subdued leader. it seemed someone else was feeling the stress.

While Kaien had gone back to his office for a bit to prepare for the meeting Ichiru Zero and Yuki sat huddled close together on the sofa waiting with tensed up shoulders for him to return and the meeting to begin.

Zero leans with his back against the sofa and closes his eyes. if this was the last night he was able to enjoy the company of his loved ones he better make the best of it now.
Even though Ichiru and Yuki were convinced he was to stay with them but deep down Zero had his doubts he was a unstable new made vampire even his sibs had to see the reality of it all and that would come with lots of sorrow of that he was sure.

Taking a deep breath he tries to relax a bit and when Ichiru huddles closer to his shoulder and leans with his head against him Zero tries to be strong for his twins side and a warm smile forms on his lips as his eyes met with that of his brother and sees the doubt reflecting in his brothers eyes doubt and fear.Whispering to his ears words of comfort Ichiru soon sighs deeply and nods his head.
